No matter if you are for the war or against it, we all know that our actions have un-corked all the extreme violence in Iraq. Given that fact, why do we only allow 7,000 Iraqis to come to the US each year? Shouldn't we allow as many who want to to move here to make amends for the de-stabilization of their country? They are not going to be like South American laborers-most Iraqis are intelligent, educated people with job skills. If they want to come here (and bear in mind that none of the 9/11 perpetrators were Iraqi) shouldn't they be allowed?

If the Bush Administration had enough compasion to think of that they wouldn't have "de-stabilized" Iraq to begin with.

i don't get it. i've been told the iraqi people want to rebuild their nation after thirty years of bath party dominance so this seven thousand, surely they're not the professionals that could rebuild their nation? so they're what?

what percentage will be former revolutionary guard? how many Sadrists?
