if everyone is doing a certain thing a certain way...do you do it in that same way? or do you have a mind of your own? for example if everyone went out and bought a new type of cell phone...would you do the same...

I try to be me as well as I can, but I usually end up following some mainstream trend. Couple things would be wearing skinny jeans, some of the music I listen to, and having a Facebook. I sometimes even follow certain trends without even noticing. >.> There are a lot of trends that I've not followed for awhile. I used to be this total prep that wasn't herself at all and did what every other prep did (shopped at Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostal, Abercrombie&Fitch, wore uggs, and so on and so forth). I'm much more me now because about a year ago I had an epiphany that I didn't have to do what everyone else was doing. I like the real me so much more than the fake me. :D

I'm the type of person that, in general, avoids things because everyone else is doing it. However, when it comes to a work environment, I essentially do the same as everyone else, but that's because I have to for the job.

I'm an orginal. If a friends life was made a lot easier by a new type of cell phone, I would try to see if it fits my life. If it doesn't, I pitch it.
