Welfare society? Of course we are living in a welfare society! We now have an 'underclass' where most cannot break away from the cycle of poverty.Over the years people have learned to use and abuse the system. It has attracted too many 'overseas residents!' In turn, we have become a 'nanny state' where we are forced to live in a world of political correctness....we are doomed!!!

i was born into it, but I worked my way out. It was difficult, but those kinds of people taught me way too much about human nature, selfishness, and lack of responsibility. not all of "us" are like that, some are forced into it, but I know how I look at most welfare types, even though it may be discriminatory, you call tell who's trying to be better and who's just playing people like myself who work hard jobs. (I'm a welder in the shipyard ugh*
