Download OphCrack live cd to recover the password.

You cant log on without a user name but if you don't set a password then it should automatically load up and log you straight on without you having to type in anything. Click on start,then your username at the top then the home icon in the box, there you can manage your password, and the way that you log on or off.

I think You might be able to take the hard drive out of the computer you are using and put it into another, load a new windows xp and you might be able to get back the data.
