I just got Ubuntu 6.06 and I cant my wireless to work. My computer has a built in wireless adapter, the adapter is a broadcomm wireless adapter. It doesnt even see that its thier. If anyone knows how to get it to work let me know.

The Broadcom adapter doesn't work out of the box, they need a firmware file that Ubuntu can't distribute. Instructions can be found here:

Though it was flaky on my Inspiron 5150, so I used the ndiswrapper, a program that uses the Windows driver in Linux. This may be easier to install and more reliable.

I've been having the same problem. I've found few things on the forums, but i just can't get it working.
