Are those who absolutely love bush, and follow him regardless of his contradictions of words and actions hypnotized by his power in a worshipful manner? As if he were a representation of God?

Are they who follow him to no end, mesmerized by his power and falsely worshipping a "wolf in sheeps clothing"?

Are they who revere him, actually worshipping him as an idol, as a false God, as their saviour, while he presents himself as a Divine figure by using followers of religion for his benefit?

Are they who love him, doing exactly that which the bible says not to do, to worship the false bringer of peace?

Though his words speak of peace, his actions fan the flames of war - are those who follow him under a spell of "they know not what they do"?

Is there actually more anger, resentment and need for power and revenge and divisiveness in those who follow bush than actual love and peace and unity?

In 2004 I was given a choice between Bush and Kerry. Kerry was the least likely of the two to look out for the working class and the security of the US so I was stuck with Bush. No hypnotic speels were cast on the American public only the choice between a quasi competent Bush and an internationalist hate America first kind of guy like Kerry. For some reason those who hate Bush belive that those who voted for Bush are all bible thumping robots. Self interest determines my vote

As an American, I don't 'worship' Bush. He is th Pesident of the United States of America. To have done nothing after the 9-11 attack you and others would be on the other side of the fence your complianing from. Ease up on the bible bull and get a grip on reality.

You nailed it. I often wonder what weird Bible these people are reading, since they claim to read the Bible. I read mine, and it doesn't support unnecessary wars, the rich getting richer, hatred of poor people, gay people and minorities. If they were true followers of Jesus, they would be helping Habitat for Humanity build houses in New Orleans or starting after-school programs for poor children. They would be giving their money to good charities instead of using it to build humongous churches that exist do enrich the pastors and members. They would, above all, have humility.

For a percentage of the right wing, your statement is correct. They would follow him through the desert for forty years and then offer up their first born son as a sacrifice in his honor.

It's not a question of love or worship.

It's supporting whoever is best for the country.

Maybe people think supporters spend all this energy loving Bush because they themselves spend so much energy hating him.

yeah, it seems kinda weird how people follow him so closely. its like the preacher of your church...he might be caught doing something totally immoral (i.e. ted haggerd and his homosexual lifestyle) and the followers will claim "nobody is perfect" and everybody makes mistakes, and forgive him. in the meantime, the still hate (yes, i mean hate) other homosexuals who arent part of the church. its very, very hypocritical. same with bush...i think people follow him so closely because of his supposedly beliefs and his religious talk, not so much because of what he has actually done for this country. they like his beliefs, not his actions.
