My friend put some of his music on my iPod. Is there a way for my iTunes to manage these files? That is, can I keep some, but not have my iPod show them? Can I extract these files onto my computer?

I've seen people recommend a program called iDump for copying songs back to your computer. It's a free program. I haven't used it, though, since I keep everything that I put onto my iPod stored on my hard drive(200GB). You might have some luck with that. Just do a search for iDump.

Open the folder on your workstation that announces track. 3. click on iTunes>>iTunes track 4. there'll a folder for each artist which you have on your iPod and interior the folders would be the songs which you have from them. desire i could help!!

no, it's a one-way street

computer to iPod. Not iPod to computer.

(but there may be some third-party software workarounds)

yes, just go to itunes, and plug in your ipod, just delete the songs you dont want (depends which file they are on 90's music, your music, etc.) just right click and delete the songs you dont want. it will delete them from the list, and in "music" they should still there
