I don't think so. I think it is more of an indication of changes to come.

No of course not, rebellion is good because it sparks change. Obviously the world isn't perfect now so change should be celebrated. Youths are only rebellious because they're feeling like there is something wrong with society or the larger world around them.
If it wasn't for rebels everything would have stayed the same in history, and no progress would be made. If no one had challenged the status quo there would be no America, or there would still be slavery, or women wouldn't be allowed to vote, and there would be no civil rights. Those who weren't in favor of these freedoms in the first place would probably think rebellion sucks, but those that enjoy these freedoms are glad someone stood up to these old powers.
I say rebellion should be celebrated not feared, obviously rebellion can have neg. consquences and some people get caught up in violence or drugs or other destructive behaviors. But if we teach the youth to celebrate their feelings and frustrations and to critically think of smart ways in which to make progress and change things up then there wouldn't be a problem.

Not a bit. Young people are always going to think they have a better, faster way of doing things. Sometimes this is called naivete. Sometimes it's called innovation.
I have always been absolutely freaking disgusted with the attitude of old people that "we've been there and done that before, and the world was cool before you young whippersnappers came along." Like nothing youth could ever do would measure up. The truth is, every record in the record books will someday be broken, every miracle of modern technology will someday be surpassed, and every star in Hollywood will someday be outshined by younger people with younger ideas.
To be fair, give credit to those who went before us and came up with some remarkable, world changing ideas. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater just because your time has passed!

Youth by nature are rebellious. It's something you grow out of...like diapers. Dissidents create change.

Rebel without violence is called creativity and innovation. Infact a nation without such creativity will become stagnant, coorrupt and spells doom

No, the youths don't have that much influence...they are just kids.
All youths have been rebellious - it is part of the maturing process..

Doom? No but they make it tough for the future of that nation.
In my day we had a cure for them, we shipped them off to the military where they got some real discipline.
