Nowhere, absolutely nowhere does the Bible say anything about 6,000 years. This preposterous, but believe what you want. The evidence indicates a much further time in the past. And that is not contradictory to the Bible, it just does not say. Good enough for me.

When you believe the Bible: Adam was not born but created. About 3761 or 4004 before Christ. When you believe science: Mankind has existed for several hundredthousand years.

NOBODY REALLY KNOWS, BUT SINCE THEY SAY IT'S PROBABLY BEEN 10,000 YEARS SINCE NOAH'S FLOOD, AND IF YOU BELIEVE THE AGES OF THE PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE IN THOSE DAYS. SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD BE CLOSER TO 20,000 YEARS.
BUT YOU KNOW IN REALITY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR AT LEAST 1 MILLION YEARS, PROBABLY LONGER. SO ADAM WOULD'VE HAD TO BE HERE BEFORE THAT TOO, DON'T YOU THINK?

it is virtually impossible to tell. i suppose we'll have to ask God when we get to Heaven if you are a Christian and live right for God.
