I wouldn't think they would kill off the main character, but my gosh, she's going to have to make a MAJOR comback! What do you think?

No, she won't die. But we will probably have to endure her struggle with a coma and physical therapy and all of that crap, a la the Sopranos last season. How annoying.

And what an annoying little kid that stood there mum (I know, she was so traumatized) and yet didn't tell anyone that someone had just been knocked into the water. So stupid.

I think I'm finished watching this show.

I agree with everyone saying I hope so. If she is the main character why do they make us hate her. She whines because she doesn't have Dr. Shepard. She gets Dr. Shepard and she is still whining there is no pleasing that girl. Her voice is even getting on my nerves especially when she is talking at the beginning and end. They should change the name to Grey's Whining.

If they do kill her off, that would have to be the biggest twist ever in primetime television...the only other show I've heard that killed off a title character was the Hogan Family, back in the 80's. I think that, since she's having this "near death" experience, they're going to do a kind of "This is your life" kind of thing that makes her re-evaluate her life and career, and...mark my words...she's going to break it off with Derek - to focus on herself and her career or some such nonsense. You know, to hook us in even more! LOL

Hmm. . .I believe that she does die, especially when they gave the preview of the next show and one of the words that stuck out was "a devastating ending"
But, you never know. . .Those writers have too much up their sleeves to really tell! That why they are good writers and the shows they write are successful! lol

She is already dead....but will come back....although I'd much rather see Izzy's Anatomy if you know what I'm sayin'.
Izzy's Anatomy...that's got a nice ring to it.

She is already dead.

Her mother will die.

They will talk.

Then Meredith will come to and Ellis will be discovered dead.
