Clingman's Dome is located in the Great Smoky Mountains, and on the border between Tennessee and North Carolina. It is 2025 meters high. It is 35 miles southeast of Knoxville, Tennessee, 55 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina, and 46 miles northwest of the border between North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Yeah, the state line seems to go right over the peak, though multiple sources list it as being in Tennessee. The access road is on the NC side, though.
