i heard this crazy word today and i have no idea how to spell it or what it means....but it sounds something like ameonopia or something? anyone have any idea what i'm talking about? lol

Are you talking about "Onomatopoeia"? That refers to a word whos meaning is also a representation of the sound it makes, such as "Boom!" or "Crash!"

You probably mean onomatopoeia, which is a word that describes a sound. Some examples: meow meow (the sound a cat makes), CRASH! (something falling off the table), whhhiiiirrrr (a helicopter's rotors), cuckoo (named after the sound it makes).
