As far as I know, u cant download the videos from youtube.com...

Copy the URL on the video page, then go to http://clipnabber.com and paste in the link. It will give you a link which you download (right click save downloaded link). It will then be in .flv format. You can download VLC player to play flv files, or you can convert it to a different format (try ReplayConverter for PC or iSquint for Mac).

if you have fire fox there is a plugin called download embeded (there is others but this one works great) and if you download and install this into fire fox you can download embedded flash objects but you need the flash program to play them or a program that can play ".swf" file formats

if you have a mac........there's a widget that allows you to download videos to you computer.......
