Alright, here's my sitch. I've had this game for quite a few years, and tossed the box, and the case and all the other advertisement. Bad Idea. I need the serial number to install this on my new computer, don't worry, I have already thaken it off my last one. I tried logging into the registry, but my account doesn't work. By the time I pay and wait for the company to send me one, I could just buy the Sims II, but I'm a broke High School student, so can anyone help me.

Try Killer Sims web site they used to have a registration code recovery program I believe was free - haven't been there in a while as I play sims 2 and use modthesims2 for most everything.

I am almost sure that Microsoft Studios have a Cd replacement facility whereby for a small fee, plus proof of purchase of the original you can replace damaged software.
