There sure is. You can get them at Radio Shack. Just go in and tell them you need a special cord to connect your iPod to your home stereo system and they'll find one for you. If you want to know the specifics, it's a patch cord with a 1/8" male stereo plug on one end (that one goes into your iPod) that splits into two male RCA plugs (those go into the auxilliary jacks of your stereo).

You can get a cable with one "line-out" jack for your iPod's headphone port and two standard RCA audio jacks. Just plug them into any open component audio input on your stereo receiver. You can also buy FM transmitters to play your iPod through your stereo's FM radio receiver. Some newer stereo receivers come with a specialized AV port for iPods - Denon is one brand. They come with special cables that plug into the bottom of your iPod and into their dedicated AV port.

Oh Yes, there are several dock stations that just plug into the stereo in jacks. I have a tiny little cable that plugs into my iPod headphone jack that goes straight into a matching plug on my speakers

All you need is a stereo miniplug to dual RCA plug cable, available anywhere.

There is. I have it and it's not very expensive. You can probably buy it at a Best Buy type store. Just look where they keep all their ipod stuff.
