When you're actually a player trying making a living off of what you do, it almost seems as if the whole rivalries thing is not as important. It's just finding the deal that best suits your wants and needs. With that being said, sure. If I was unhappy or not getting enough playing time at my club, yea I would make the move if that was going to satisfy my wants and needs. Deep down I will always support my club, but that doesn't mean I can't play for a rival team and help them win. If really you think about it, rivalries are almost biased anyway, and I don't want to biased and think only the best for only my club and none others.
