You hit the spell check button,however, you still need to check your spelling because spell check doesn't separate the meaning of a word that has multiple meanings,such as the word to,two,too. You would need to select the proper word for your sententce.

Go into the tools menu and click on check spelling

If you are talking about in Microsoft Word it is Tools>Spell Check
