I think they will be better because Mangini will continue to build on what the team accomplished last year. The players have a year under their belt and the team will be able to bring in more player to fill the holes that they have.

That depends on your view. They will be a better team certainly a year into Magini's coaching so they know what is expected and younger players improve. BUT that doesn't mean they will do better. They were 10-6 last year and most predicted them for last place in their division, not the playoffs. They did have an easy schedule as well. This year I'd bet 9-7 to 10-6 but they will be a better team with that record and are definitly going in the right direction.

Not at all. They Jets benefitted from one of the very easiest schedules in NFL history - much less last season. The Pats & Bears were their only real challenges, in what was a poor year anyhow for NFL competition. It can't get any worse, next year... meaning other teams have to improve? The Jets cannot rely on the NFL schedule makers next season to provide them with the peach they had last year.

You know what don't rush it, the Jets had a great season and did what no one expected them to do. They are going to be really good soon! They have a good D-fence and Chad might have a weak arm but he know how to manage a game, Crotchery and Coles were one of the best WR combo's in the league, their only problem is they need to stick with one RB! And I am a Steelers fan!

the jets didnt do that bad last year, they did make it to the playoffs even though they went in the first round. the jets lack a good quarterback and media attention though and until they can fill their holes i dont see them doing any better than this year.

This year was a fluke...they are not terrible, but .500 at best is what I expect out of them this coming year. They are a young team so the future is looking bright for them, but that is in the next 3-4 years.
Go Steelers!!!

They were very gimmicky last year. I think teams will pick up on that and find more weaknesses. You can only cover lack of talent with scheme for so long.

If they make some good personnel moves, yes, otherwise I don't see them being any better. If anything, a tougher schedule will make next season more difficult.
