I'm not sure I regret it... I had an opportunity to rekindle with a past boyfriend, but I chose to stay with the current one.

The day before my husband passed away 2/17/04 I was about to tell him that I loved him, even though he'd said some really nasty things to me. I didn't take the chance because I felt he'd hurt my feelings. I should have just taken the chance and so what if my feelings would have been hurt, they are hurt worse now.

I had the chance to take my son to Australia to live after my divorce from my abusive and wandering ex (with both males and females) and did not take it. Consequently, I have not seen my son since he was 5...I do talk to him every week and write to him...he lives with friends in Florida...I had to leave because my ex was doing all he could to kill me...the last straw was to set fire to my house with me in it. My son is now 21...I still keep in touch with him and he understands why I can not come to see him. I just wish I took that chance to go to Australia with him in the first place.

I would tell myself not to regret on this.
Nevertheless, i still wonder if i could have made a difference.
I had the opportunity to speak to a friend (not close) in 2 days before his death, as I was a financial adviser, then.
He enquired about insurance from me.
On the day before the day i was to meet him up and tell him about the insurance plan details, he jumped off from his apartment block, to his death.
Yes, i got to keep our appointment on 9th February 2006, BUT i saw him lying down in his casket, instead of standing up.
Creepy, right?
Life is really unpredictable.
NEVER EVER, ASSUME on anything in your life, that even if you are very confident and certain on, because, and because, there are all sorts of factors out there...
remember this.
