I would love to. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity! Unfortunately, I don't have the money or time right now to travel!

When we returned from Ghana a few months ago we said we'd go back about this time so we could be there for the independence celebrations. Unfortunately time, money, work committments etc have meant this won't be possible which is a great shame as I'd have loved to be there.

We'll be going back later this year, probably in late November of early December and spending Christmas in the UER and New Year in Accra. Very much looking forward to it.

I'm totally dying to go, but I have comittments here in March to make it possible for me to spend the summer in the Volta Region! Some of my Ghanaian friends said that there would be some sort of celebration all year though. So I'm hoping that's true and I'm going to try and get the best coerage I can while the huge March 6 celebrations are going on!!!
