I'd like to know of a place that pays you for your song lyrics but also isn't a scam.

Hi Girl in the Front Row... I've been a pro musician for most of my life... You need some music to go with those words... But local bands like reading lyrics... Many of them have a hard time finding words to go with the jams that come out of practice sessions... If you could hang around a local band whose music inspires you or describes you, they would appreciate your help and put your name on anything they publish with your lyrics... Otherwise, there are way too many songwriters to compete with...

Hmm, I think that's a bit tough. Listen, throughout the yers I've written hundreds of songs, sent demos to publishers and I still am (and will be) an amateur. Artists can write lyrics even though most of them are crappy, so why would anybody pay us for lyrics?
