I turn on ESPN, ESPN Radio, or even some of the local sports shows and it seems they can't go 15 minutes without mentioning it. I listen to sports shows to hear sports! Who cares about whether a person is straight, gay, bi, or whatever? Sports media is NOT the venue for this!!!!

I totally agree. I don't have to announce that I am a heterosexual. Nobody cares. As far as I'm concerned, it's a personal issue between yourself and the people you have a relationship with. I'm not having sex with any of my coworkers, so what difference does it make? There are already rules and laws regarding sexual harassment. If guys are feeling harassed by a gay coworker, they can file a grievance just like the females would.
But hey, look at it this way: You could play a sport and be a below average athlete, and when you retire just tell people you are gay and all of a sudden you are newsworthy. Oh, and all those other guys who are retired and nobody talks about can come out and talk about your being gay and all of a sudden they are newsworthy too.

I'm sick of people not being able to say they hate gays, or straights, or asians, or blacks, or whites or anything because of political correctness. We all have opinions.
