Depends on what you're searching for. Sometimes using different keywords to find stuff will bring up some similar websites. I know how it goes, though. I had to deal with the wrath of websense when I was in college recently.

there are sites that allow you to get past filtering, but websense seems to have those sites blocked...i have the same problem at work

Try using proxies, like fetch.nu and such.
