I think you might be applying too much eye-shadow. MAC models always look kind of clowny because they just use too much. If you use foundation apply some of it on your eyelids before you put on the shadow and it should help the shadow hold. Natural is also very beautiful. I only wear shadow when going to parties or out in the evening I like the natural look sooo much more not only on me but on people in general.

Clinique's "Touch Tint for Eyes" in Nude makes a great eye shadow base. A cheaper version of this that I use is Neutrogena "Shimmer Sheers". The shade that I found to work the best is Spellbound. I usually put foundation on my eyelid all the way up to my eyebrow and then use the eye shadow base and have no problems!

Cover Girl Eye Slicks. It is a larger size( like a big color crayon) and it is awesome.
It will not crease with your eyelid, one night I fell asleep watching a movie, woke up at 3:am and my make up was still good! Not even kidding!
They are shiny and shimmery! I like the ginger frost. and that light pink is good I just don't remember the name!
If you apply it at 7:am and think that it needs a touch up at 2:pm it wont clump with the 7:am stuff it just renews itself. There are a lot of colors. You can get them at Target, K-mart, Walmart or where ever they sell CG stuff.
Almay is good too.....Softer powder shadows.

Try eye base. It helps moisturize and keeps the eye shadow on.
Try not to wear too much eye shadow and try neutral colors. Check out looselipsny.com . Great makeup.

Try Mary Kay's Extend and Blend signature eye primer. Proven to extend the wear of your eye color. It helps glide your eye make up smoothly and will stay in place without creasing or smudging. Plus it's waterproof.

Don't use too much eyeshadow. When you put it on gently brush it over the surface of your eye lid, don't push down too hard and don't put a bunch of it on.
