Scientifically yawning will send excess carbide from our body...even yawning is the best way to send those carbides out...so when a person yawns , he will send his carbide out so the other will breath it and his carbide will come put from him...as like a magnetic force it will go inside a body and will come out...so naturally every 1 yawn when they r nearby........

These are some of things which our brain interacts and tends to do what it sees others doing it.
You might see some one yawning or sleeping or lets say looking at him you wish to do so, and there it does.
So its just that a group of 5 is cracking jokes and laughing, obiviously if you are the sixth one you will not go and cry among them, you will make up your mind to join their laughter. Right ?
So wile just looking some one yawning, although not everytime, because yawning is something which relaxes our body when we cant completely rest by sleeping.
And most of us wish to do so even while at work. We wish to relax.
So all of us already have the feelings , thus when we see someone yawning, it courages us to do the samething, thus we start to yawn also. :)

Monkey see, monkey do. Its a psychological effect thing. If they don't see or hear the person yawned then they would not yawn.
