Vote Republican. Liberals wanna control everything, because they don't know what the hell personal responsibility is. They take the easy way out. Let's grind up our kids because we were too stupid to use protection. Let's bail out of war because we're pussey's and can't deal with reality that war takes time. It's ridiculous.

Perhaps a better question to ask is this: "How can we get the American people to realize our Constitution does NOT guarantee the rights most of our citizens think it does?" The first and most important "right" that Americans think they have but don't (and the Supreme Court has backed this up) is PRIVACY. Don't labor under the misconception that you can do whatever you want within the confines of your own home. Sure, people gripe and complain about the Patriot Act and how invasive it is into the lives of the private citizen, but you need to understand that it is a 100% LEGAL invasion into our lives. On the flipside of that, you have people saying we need to tax the rich until it hurts (and then some) and give to the poor without realizing that this forced redistribution of wealth is not only an invasion into the lives of the private citizen, it's just one more step toward total government control over the economy. The Democrats are literally marching us down a path that will turn this country into the next Soviet Union, so why is no one complaining about the government taking away our rights to earn a living and make money according to our abilities?
BOTTOM LINE: So many Americans are completely backwards in their thinking thanks to the garbage being put out by the mainstream liberal media, so be careful to watch what's REALLY going on when the Democrats rail against the Bush Administration and how it's supposedly taking away the rights of the people while the Democratic party is plotting and putting legislation in motion that will render all debate about civil rights moot because there won't BE any civil rights anymore if they get away with it.

I wish the American citizens would revolt the way the illegal Mexicans did! Writing letters to Congressmen doesn't do much good. I even told mine to grow some balls, after the first Patriot Acts was passed. And with elections being rigged....I don't think actually voting helps anymore(even though I still do). I think the only way it MIGHT do some good to join some really active groups. I would do more than I do now, but I have 2 elderly parents to take care of. And I can't afford to go to jail and leave them helpless. But I sure would march in the streets. But what is more important is trey to get more people to understand and accept the truth.

Nah! you're not any further in the twilight zone! Your in the U. S. a huge brawling nuthouse with the likes of Rush Limbaugh, severe on legal drugs, screaming poisonous waste over the airwaves. Welcome! And the most ideal answer i can arise with in regard on your question is that i look on the supporters of this Republican administration headed up through 2 losers, Bush and Cheney, is through the adventure I gained as a bartender again in the Nineteen Sixties. A bar room bully who loudly asserts his reviews and ideology at the same time as the little hangers on simper, smile and nod hoping they are going to be rewarded with a small beer. thanks

By holding your elected representative accountable.
Find out who your representatives are in congress, contact them and let them know that you expect them to stand up for your constitutional rights or they will be out of a job come election time. Get your friends and family to do the same.
This system is there fore everybody to use but nobody ever does.
OBTW, it helps if you are a registered voter and actually vote during elections.

For one, stop complaining about it and actually get out there...protest, create activist groups, petition, etc. They used to do that in the 60s and 70s..now everyone is too "busy" and/or complacent.

We have very few rights in this country. Unfortunatley this is never a topic when election time comes. Land of the Free? Not really.

the Constitution says this...if 60% or more of the general public vote on the same thing (i.e. makeing pot legal) then the government has to do what they want and can't veto it. otherwise i say bomb all federal and state buildings, get rid of bush (hopefully in iraq w/ no weapons, guards, or any protection) and start over!!!

I would say write an angry letter however depending upon the level of anger you would probably find yourself arrested without charges or warrant.
I think you have to sit back and take it

For starters, stop expecting the government to provide us with social security, medicare, and universal health coverage. The more we expect from the government, the more dependent we become on the government. And dependency is one step away from slavery!
