Try growing skunk cabbage , they have big yellow flowers, and have a smell all their own, they smell like you have a skunk problem . we plan on planting approx. 50 of these plants to keep the campers away

cedar, juniper, pine. where do you live? what do you mean by "cold"? most winter climates in North America are dry if they are cold.
