Because its dirty its nasty and its wrong. People were supposed to have sex to make babies, it just feels good so we would be encouraged to procreate. Gay people are just sick people, what they do is disgusting and i dont want any part of it. Im not gonna change the way I feel about it just cause somebody is gay neither are the players in the league. Would u really want a gay man showering with u? Hell no. Thats like me showering with a bunch of girls, of course im gonna look at them i cant help it. gays are the same way, so i agree with tim hardaway. i dont hate gay people. but theyre disgusting. If a group of people decided it was cool to have sex with animals should we all just let them and allow them to get married too and when we disagree be called bigots? What if they wanna have sex with little kids is that cool too? All of it is wrong and sick, gay people have something wrong with them, dont believe me? ask god he'll agree with me. You might disagree with me now but when you die, you're soul with find out i was right all along and by then itll be too late

It's due to biggotry that has been handed down from generation to generation.

And it doesn't help having a president that does nothing but stir trouble in this regard up by trying to create a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. Trying to create the amendment in the name of religious morality, while at the same time spreading bigotry against gays all across the US.

Gays are in the midst of fighting for their rights now like women and African Americans did beforehand.

Some quick comparisons:

"A black man shouldn't be allowed to marry a white woman because it would ruin the sanctity of marriage."
"Two people of the same sex should not be allowed to marry because it would ruin the sanctity of marriage."

"A white player should not have to share a locker room with a black player because it would make the players uncomfortable."
"A basketball player shouldn't have to share a locker room with a gay guy because it would make him uncomfortable."

"A black man shouldn't be in the army because it would make his fellow troups uncomfortable."
"A gay man shouldn't be allowed in the army because it would make his fellow troups uncomfortable."

The Constitution of the United States isn't about making people comfortable. Does it say anywhere in there that it guarantees a person to be comfortable? No. It states that all are created equal and should be treated equal. So if treating people equal makes others uncomfortable, then they'd better deal with being uncomfortable and getting used to treating people the way they should be treated.

If I pray in public, will that make some people uncomfortable? Yeah, sure it will. But that is a right and a freedom to pray in public. It is called the freedom of Religion as guaranteed in the Constitution. And the right and freedom of gays to be treated equally is also a right that is and should be guaranteed by the Constitution.

im not! because really why does it matter if a player is gay or not??? as long as he can play ball i could care less if he's gay, transexual, transvestite, black, white, blue, red, robot.... it doesnt matter! its not like the league will turn away any current player who comes out as being gay anyway as long as that person brings their talent and skill to win basketball games. and its like what charles barkley said, he's played with gay people though nobody knew about it and the players today are playing with gay guys but might not even know it either. what's next... people are going to think the nba should implement a "dont ask dont tell" policy like the military? come on... if players cant get past a guy being gay in the locker room, then they're the pu$$ies because they're obviously not comfortable with their own sexuality. GET OVER IT!

*sigh* thanks for letting be rant... haha.

"Everyday we hear more and more gays in NBA" ?????????? Where are you getting your information? How many gays are in the NBA now?? Do you have inside information, that the general public does not? I believe only one person has vocally come out commenting that it was a bad thing.

Think about it,

When your on the court passing the ball around and such non-gay players may come into contact with the sweat of the gay players and contract gayness.

'LOL' I'm sure what ever the reasons are they can't be much more rediculous than that.

too many straight guys think that being in a locker room with a gay guy will be weird because the gay guy will be checking them out all the time...as though being gay means you have no taste and will just pounce on anything with a dick

another reason is that too many straight guys think of gay guys as though they are all drag queens and fairies and not as masculine and able to ball

you cant even tell that most of my friends are gay because they are so masculine and i find it hilarious because when we go play pick up games at the gym, the guys we play against always freak out because they cant believe we are gay once we chat after

its stupid....tim hardaway is a has been piece of crap.....and what i do in my bedroom is my business

I am not against gays in the NBA. However, I don't think that Tim Hardaway should be chastized for his comments. This is America! We are allowed to say whatever we want about whomever we want. If it offends someone, oh well. Penny is entitled to his opinion. If someone doesn't like it, too bad. Move to Cuba!

All this sex talk is making things much worse. Sexual preference of ALL types should be left out of all public issues. Most of all, we as humans, should never confuse sexual behavior with Race, Color, or Religion. We can all have sexual deviant behavior in our own private lives as long as it stays private.

Place that in your sphincter muscle!
