Did you stick it back on with superglue or is that not wise

About 10 years ago I stubbed my big toe and ripped the nail clean off. It hurt like hell but I just bandaged it up. After about 3 days a new nail started to grow and after a month or two it was pretty much back to normal. The chances are you have killed the nail and I really wouldn't consider introducing superglue into the wound.

Yes! My pinky toe nail has been ripped off THREE times! It's finally starting to look like a toe nail again!

yes and i screamed was nearly sick and i dont think its a good idea to stick it back on with Superglue no way it will grow back eventually

yes, your toe nail will grow back. it will take a long time, but it will. the bubble filled with blood is just that. the injury has swelled like a bubble and it is filled with blood. not much to do about that. it should heal on it's own. if the bubble gets so big and the pain is unbareable its cause the pressure of the blood under the skin, go to the doc and they can release the pressure or you can do it yourself with a sharp small sterile needle. prick it to release the blood and keep it clean! it should heal.

Yes I did once. I smashed it once, and there was blood under the tail, after it opened up, the blood came out. But the nail was separated from the toe, so I cut it back. (stupid move, because the tissue under the nail is uber-sensitive) Anyway, it grew back. Thanks for reminding me of that. Pfft. ; )

Yeah when I was about 10
It was excruciating.......it was my middle toe and the hospital cleansed the wound and bandaged the toe up...........I had to wear flip flops all summer I looked silly with this huge bandaged toe sticking out

Yes had my toenail ripped off (thanks to my evil little brother and the hoover) but no did not use superglue. Disinfected the area and kept it covered.

Once as a kid. It just left it off and it grew back in about 2 months.
