It is face powder (foundation) used to cover up blemishes, acne, etc. on the face, also used to give the face a more "finished" appearance, to give oily or shiny skin a more matte appearance, or as a base that all of your other makeup goes on top of. The mirror is for quick touch-ups.

Its make up for your face. I use a really good one from L'oreal, but I really like the one from MAC, but its too rich for my blood.
