Draw or paint something about Anna Nicole Smith. Like the revealing of the father, kinda set it up like the last supper. Where everybody is talking to someone in the painting.

The odds are incredibly low, and even if you do become a famous artist in your lifetime, history shows that the famous artists of their day are often forgotten in 100 years, while the obscure artists like Van Gogh may become the most famous (or just remain obscure, you never know). Frankly being an artist is a life that's often lonely and difficult. It involves much personal and financial sacrifice. The only sensible reason to do it as more than a hobby is if you have a great passion, and really want to do art more than anything else.
If you still want to be an artist, you want to be able to, eventually when your skill and style are developed enough through hard work that could take years, be able to make a living, either by getting grants or selling your work, or some combination of those. To do this you have to have a name for yourself, which means you have to know how to publicize yourself in order to become a little bit well known. Generally it starts in your local community and you have to grow slowly from there. However it's important not to let the desire for notoriety interfere with your main focus, which always has to be the art itself.

Being a famous artist seems like a wonderful life, doesn't it? If you're famous then you're making enough money from your art to Create art for a living ... and that would be heaven.
Unfortunately, the folks who have already answered have already told you the two best ways to become famous: Luck, and after you die. Don't rush the latter, however!
Seriously, if you want to make a living doing art, you've got to get yourself out there. Join local and state artist's societies. Exhibit in as many shows as you can, wear out some shoe leather taking your portfolios to commercial galleries and getting your work up on the wall and for sale in as many of them as you can.
Find out which resturants, coffeehouses, and bookstores in your area have rotating "for sale" art displays and try to get into the rotation... The more your art is "out there" the better chance you have of selling it and making a living
And this also gives you the best chance of becoming well known.
Above all, enjoy your art.
Good luck!

It might take a while so you might need a day job while you wait.
But you should build a portfolio of your art work, have an artist statement and resume. Then start visiting local art galleries and attend Gallery Art Night in your area or near by city. Be open to other people's work and learn form it. See what's out there. Pick up business cards or contact infos of galleries with works you like and send them your info and samples of work or link to your portfolio. If you are a student, art major in college have a lot of student shows that you can enter. The most important thing is that you have to do it for your love of art not because you want to be famous. Trust me it show up on your work. Good Luck!

Very few people get to become a famous artist, actor, singer, or other thing. It is very difficult to become famous because the competition is very hard and also, it takes monumental talent, drive, perseverance, luck, and a lot of connections with the right people who are willing to help you, in order to become famous. Do you like art or are you just interested in becoming famous? If it is the latter, I am afraid you will be very disappointed because your chances of this happening are very low. And it also seems the person above this posting is trying to be funny, inasmuch as many artists only become famous (or their artwork increases in value) after they die. That certainly is not much satisfaction, being famous after you are dead, which of course, is the poster's point, and they make a valid one.

Rather than try to become a "famous" artist, try expressing yourself through art as honestly as possible. Push yourself creatively by trying new methods and techniques. Believe in what you're doing at the time, but never lose that critical eye. In a long distance run... the ones that win will always be the ones that run for the love of running and not the ones that want to win for money or fame. Art, like many other creative endeavors, is a solitary process and if you crave fame you'll be disappointed by the long hours spent alone in your room painting or sculpting.
I know.. it's one of those things that seem to contradict itself. If you want fame, love solitude - and the rest will follow.

You must die! Just kidding. You have to do something out of the box. Not meaning your art but your reason. You might hear of a local artist on the news because of something they are commemorating or they are trying to raise awarness about. Try and capture a piece of history, life and times in your work.

First, you have to remember, most artists aren't overnight successes, they work at it for years. you may want to put some of your work(whatever it is you do) up for sale where people will see it, many coffee houses(not Starbucks) will sell the works of local artists, or you could display it on the Internet.
