opinion on valentines day. i think it is a waste of time. its only fun for couples and if u rnt a couple then all you do is sit around and watch people who do have bf/gf do stuff.
what did you do this valentines day, and do u have a gf/bf?

I agree.....you don't need "a one day out of the year for couples to know that it is a romantic day".....Every day should be a special one if your in a relationship anyway;) good luck and great question;)
we had pizza and movie night in our living room with our 4 kids;) we all have been feeling under the weather...so this was a perfect night for all of us to hang out and snuggle with each other;)

For the moment I don't have a boyfriend even though I wish love would just hurry up and find me...lol...I think Valentine's Day is a lovely day for couples and it's an opportunity for them to do something extra special (even though, you should be nice to your partner all the time, not only valentines day!) It is true however, that many people who don't have that special someone can feel left out, bored or even a little floppy and sad...but these people should not be put down...afterall, it could be them sitting down at a candle-lit romantic dinner next year! :-)

I dont have a boyfriend. I love Valentines but its true, since i dont have a man then i got a little depressed but i rather not be around couples.. it kinda helps. I tried to stay busy at work and had nigh school so it kind off helped me to be like "just another day." Although i did get a text from my EX-man which sucked but yeah.

It is really a holiday for couples. If you're single it sux. I DO have a bf and I made him a candlelight dinner and watched a movie at home. It was tooooo freaking cold to get cute in a dress and go out.

Valentine came into existance with the idea that why not love just one person let's love as many people as possible.. your family, friends and even pesky co-workers....
O! and Happy Valentine's day!!! i was lonely too as well and nobody wished valentine to me but i.........
Valentine is not bad neither you should feel neglected...
as far as love is concerned hope you find true love not some idiot Bf who's gonna runaway after couple semsters.

For Valentine's Day I got my wife a new bag and a new belt.
Now the vacuum cleaner works a treat again!

i have a bf and i still think its a waste of time. we had a quiet nite in, cuz he had to go to work, but i got to fall asleep and wake up in his arms =)
i think valentines day is just another holiday to sell expensive tacky stuff that no one ever uses nornally, like xmass.

Told the wife I loved her and gave her a rose. She had prepared
a nice dinner earlier in the week and called it our "Valentines
Dinner" . Like you say, it IS a couples day -- it's kinda fun but can
be expensive ---------------- acknowledgement is required/expected,
gifts given under those terms just don't get it.

its a hallmark holiday...pointless waste of time...ive got a bf and we both agree that its a waste of money....we do like to go eat dinner on days like that though because nice restaurants have some great food on vday
