On the Road by Jack Kerouac. Surprising, since it has been such an influential book on generations of youth. There have been a few movies on the Beats, including the Kiefer Sutherland portrayal of Wm. Burroughs, Heart Beat with Sissy Spacek as Carolyn Cassady, Nick Nolte as Neal Cassady, & John Heard as Kerouac, a biog enitled "Whatever Happened to Kerouac?" & the inferior "Subterraneans" with George Peppard - but to my knowledge, not OtheR.

There is no such book left :)
They haven't made a movie of it YET, so I will go with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Bag of Bones By Stephen King. It would be freakin' Scary if it's a good director who want to do the film, like Frank Darabont.
