Vacuum the carpet over and over and over - it will help reduce the amount of fuzz that can get on everything.

Run your things through the dryer (while dry), and clean the lint filter several times. That should help eliminate the fuzz that is all over everything already.

I would keep vacuuming the carpet until until the surface fuzz is gone and then you won't have to worry about fuzz everywhere. You may have to use lint rollers to get rid of it on your stuff - may take awhile

pass the hoover a couple of times, then put some carpet powder , and walk on top of the carpet as much as you can this will gradually stop the fuzz from jumping every where
