Yes for there are issues concerning the law and society.
For example, men do not have equal rights to the custody of their children when a relationship or marriage breaks down.
More men commit suicide than women, which is a very disturbing fact, which could have links with men's inability to talk and off load worries to each other.
Men can develope emotional problems which are neither recognised or excepted never mind treated, due to the fact that many men bottle up their emotions.
Men can be almost financially blackmailed by a disgruntled ex wife, threatening to take them through the child support agency.
Men's liberation would entail empowerment via their intellect.
A man has more control over any situation if he has control over his passion, anger, and fear.
Men should become secure in their male identity and not feel the need to prove their masculinity by acts of violence or other negative psychological posturings.
Only an insecure man needs to prove he is a man of reckoning within any peer group.
The reason why young men seem to be getting more aggressive could be that they live in a world where their place is uncertain and not guaranteed as say in their grandfathers time and so their insecurity grows.
Men need to look into their minds and find a renewed self belief, for too long have nearly all men been accused of being oppressors of one sort or another by as ignorant a bigots that feminism can bestow.
Equality should mean equality and not the case of "the boot being on the other foot".
All men and women should show each other equal respect at work, rest and play, for it is by understanding each others thoughts that will help us to build better future relationships and friendships .
However there is nothing new in this idea, for the ideal existed many years before and was described as being a Gentleman, for no mean spirited woman can fool a man who has his wits about him, nor taint the reputation of the wise and humble man.
My own partner has told me in discussions that she believes that some women look for in a man apart from appearances is strength of character and a sense of openness and almost guidance on difficult matters that visit us all in life.
So men could be missing out on a hidden and forgotten strength of theirs, the same strength that helped Gautama Siddharta attain Buddhahood, or Jesus attain his Kindom of God, the very same strength found in the selfless acts of heroism in war.
Men must start to believe in themselves more, without the need or aid of artifical sterotypes and fashions spawned by media outlets.
Taking back the power is checking out the true reality of one's existence then acting upon any weakness, ignorances or fears; These are the aggregates of our everyday reality that we need liberation from, but never from the love of a kindhearted woman.

Caitlin made the best point in the shortest statement. My dad was boss because mum let him be, when his ideas were different from her's she would fire him temporarily.

Only rabid feminist really think men are, as individuals, that oppressive. And admittedly, some of us males are right prats and gits, if not pure unadulterated A***o*.*s. Also society was dominated until the end of the last century.
I personally see women as equals but sadly, now we men are becoming the underdogs. Sad it has to all be about power.

We need to liberate ourselves from our male ego's, men and women will never be equal lets face it. But as men we need to respect things for what they are.
