Bald eagles mostly eat fish but on occassion do go afer birds such as geese and herons. I would think a great blue was pretty big but probably on occassion are taken out by Bald Eagles.

Predation by eagles has been documented on nestling herons, but not adults. I wouldn't want to get in a fight with a heron. They can strike faster than a snake and put your eye out.

Bald Eagles feed almost exclusively on fish and carrion (dead stuff). I dont believe they would attempt to kill a Great Blue Heron, but if a dead one was lying around I am sure they wouldnt pass it up.
