1)Truly poor people can't afford cars.

2) Less delays means less CO2..still not as "green" as public transport but its not bad.

3) Well they've done f u c k all with my pension that they stole from me. Run out of prison places, hospitals are in debt, national debt is at record levels...

4) Not if you go by public transport, no doubt some computer whiz will invent some circumvention and see it to make him a millionaire.

5) Well, maybe they could use the money to make it more acceptable.

The best way to do this is increase the petrol duty. No need for drivers/taxpayers to pay for the tracker boxes, no chance of evasion, foreigners couldn't get out if paying for it, and it dependent on how much you drive and even how you drive. Of course it's not directly time and road sensitive. But then the government can't spy on you, which is why such a simple solution doesn't appeal to them.

We have a general election soon, use your vote wisely.

Absolutely, couldn't agree more, that's why we have the petitions running.
1....Me too
2....Correct
3.....well er.. not sure I've heard about these good things! In my opinion,Labour have been borrowing a lot of money from would be,(?)tomorrow's titled people, How are they going to repay these loans. I haven't heard anything about repayments?
4....I don't think its only the speed limit they want control over.
5....That's how I know that ordinary people (you & I) are disregarded by this government, It's common sense, environmentally friendly, good business, to make a good reliable affordable, public transport service a priority, even I might consider using trains and buses, if it was a good deal and value for money, but it's a substandard service and far too expensive for the likes of me! The Government just want control they are not in my opinion, the slightest bit bothered about what the people want, Iraq war, did we want it NO, did they listen? NO!

I think it's a brilliant idea that you brought such a great gag back all the way from 1992, NOT! Ooh, how I've longed for some body to bring the"NOT" joke back after being forced to stop doing it when I was 12 by fast moving fashionable catchphrases like "oh suit's you sir" and, "I don't believe it".
How it lighten the mood

I think it's disgraceful. The government always hit motorists in the pocket. Motorists pay enough already.

Maybe you should send some novelty exploding letters to Capita and the DVLA. I'm sure they'll come round.
