I was really anxious last year and i was unemployed for 5 months, but i think not working makes it worse,i went to the doctors.I got better after reading a book on low self esteem,as having low self esteen made me anxious, the book taught me how to be more confident,it was a self help book, you can get it from the library, eventually i was confident enough to go to a job interview, now i have been working for 7 months on a till in a busy shop.So your not alone it happens to as lot of people, but im sure you will get better and feel confident enough to work.I hope everything works out good luck.

I am an anxious person and always sought out solitary jobs where I wouldn't be under supervision by a boss or have to mix in the office. Hence I have worked many years driving different vehicles- heavy goods, buses etc. It is a lonely and boring type of job though. I even wanted to be a lighthousekeeper at one time but these are all electronically controlled now unfortunately. You could try doing a course in counselling level one because you will find out a lot about your anxieties in an unthreatening atmosphere. I did it and it was great. Some attractive girls were on the course too. Hope I gave you some ideas. How about a driving instructors job? They are always being advertised and you could work for yourself.

Buy some Inderal (propanolol). It stops your body from producing adrenaline. You will feel like everyone else. After you get used to being relaxed you can stop taking it and you will be used to being relaxed. I use it when I have to do presentations at school.
