No. The Democrat Party is the party of taxing the hell out of hard working Americans so they can give it away to lazy bums who won't work for a living. This is called socialism. And it has done nothing but hurt this country seriously.

The statement cannot be farther from the truth. To take a party line attitude like that is simply silly and wrong. To think in those terms is a clear sign that most people are lazy and stupid and cannot think on their own. It tells the respective party leaders that we are a society that wants to be lead by the nose for every decision in life. There really isn't an ample amount of space for me to tell you the difference between the two parties but just let me say that it is not a true statement at all.

No statement that starts out "The Republican party" or "The Democratic party" can be 100% true. Because it is way to general of a statement.

While those statements ring true there is more to it than that. The two American main political parties are based on the basic tenets of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. While they both agree on issues such as no totalitarianism their approach to government is quite different. The Republican Party is today's version of Alexander Hamilton's tenets while the tenets of Thomas Jefferson are reflected in the Democratic Party.
Hamilton: Strong central government, large standing army, local control of money, favor the wealthy. Good foreign policy, so-so domestic policy. Borrows to fund today's programs. (buy now pay later)
Jefferson: Stronger local governments and a weaker central government, smaller standing army, national control of money, favors the ordinary person over the wealthy, so-so foreign policy, great domestic policy. May raise taxes to pay for today's programs. (pay as you go)

Nowadays. But I don't think it was always like that. Hopefully the Republican party kicks out the NeoCons and goes back to being good for all Americans.

republican VALUES rely on individual reliance and self-sustainment. democratic VALUES rely on mutual discretion and mass approval.
the republican and democratic parties, however, are BOTH the parties that care ONLY about political power and self advancement.

False. The answer is neither party truly cares about the blue collar workers. But I would put the Republicans ahead of the Dems in what little they do care.
