I have had a problem with my son visiting unacceptable websites. He wants his PSP back, and told me to turn on the parental control w/password so he would not have wireless access. He knows more about computers than me. I'm wondering how easy it is to bypass the parental control. Would it be possible for him to maybe download another browser or program on the memory card to gain access without the password?

Usually Wireless Routers have parental controls built in as well. So if you password protect your router and enable the parental control you should be pretty safe.

I believe the Parental controls for the PSP are saved on the built in memory, so replacing the memory card should have no affect.

Also, the parental controls for the PSP may only be for game, and not internet Access.

The other thing you can do is just set your wifi router to not allow the PSP to connect, by chaning the WEP/WPA access codes on the router config.
