As a basic premise, this administration has followed the agenda, whether for personal gain or to help out campaign donors, that we do everything we can to win in this moment and forget about the future. It is evident in the war, the insane overspending and lack of accountability for 10 billion dollars of taxpayer money being lost or spent incorrectly which has lead to the largest deficit in our history. It is evident in the environmental stance this administration has taken, allowing more pollution to flood this country than has occurred since the early 70's without consequence for the industries doing the polluting. It is evident in the media manipulation, lies and disregard for the American people's opinion surrounding the current war in Iraq. Lastly, it is evident in a million other ways that only a few Americans are going to notice, like yourself. In this administrations eyes, you as a soldier no longer serving their agenda as a retiree, are worthless. That makes it easy to take your benefits away and give them to fresh meat on the front of their career. Isn't it funny how the Republican machine preaches support of troops, but are willing, in serving their twisted agenda, to crap on those who have served their country in the past.

Bush was a half-assed enlistee that used his family name and old money to keep from ever having to go to any war or do any of the difficult stuff. He doesn't know what it's like to be a veteran, he's just officially documented as one. Besides he needs as many bullet blockers over there as possible. Might as well just join hands and play Red Rover around the Iraqi border. Even kids today as dumb as they are have started to see through the ploy of throwing money at them to go over and get killed in a blood feud that should have ended 2 decades ago. But if ya throw more money at them, their stupidity will shine on through and Gen-X will be the next line of bullet blockers in the sand. "red rover red rover send AK right over" Ka-boom. The end.

Vets still have benefits, but it's hard to intice a recruit in time of war. Our troops get paid little as it is, so more money is great for them.
