NO, it isn't wrong. I cried for days after Princess Diana died. And when the Amish school shootings happened last fall I had a hard time too. It speaks to our humanity that we mourn even those we did not know personally.

I think it depends on who the person you are mourning is and what kind of life they led. If you are mourning a person who done nothing but evil and wrongdoing during their lifetime than yes I do think it is wrong, but if the person personified all that is good than I think it would be okay.

I dont think that its wrong to mourn someone that we don't know, because after all they have families to that love and will miss them.
