Have you hear the new Lucinda Williams album "West" yet?

I listen to it while making diner last night. Have to say I was happy with what I heard.

She will be performing here in Minneapolis on Wed the night before her two Chicago dates. I just got my ticket this morning. I might make the Friday Chicago and go see my sister. And yes I like Wilco. Where you Uncle Tupelo fan too?

Funny - you answered my question on G. Love and now I see yours.
We must have similar taste in music. I ordered the new Lucinda Williams CD and also got tickets to see her at the Vic in Chicago. I seriously doubt she is a drunk! I can't imagine not liking the CD, hers are the type that grow on you more and more each time you hear them. You would probably like Wilco also - they are not the same as her - but great song writing and dark and complicated.

I liked Uncle Tupelo also - but not as much as Wilco. If you end up getting tickets for L.W. then you should e-mail me [e-mail]. I'm going to the Vic tonight. It's one of my favorite places to see a show. The acoustics are good. I haven't been there in a couple of years but I'll know how it's set up after tonight. I'm seeing LW on the Sat show.
