I think you may have had a lot of fluid retention that went away, water is the only thing I know of to cause a drastic change in shape (bloating, etc.) Everything is probably fine but I would still call the Dr.
Good luck to you.

I am a mother of 5. The last on is going to be one on the 17th..
Your body is shifting to prepare for expansion. The baby is probably settling towards your back which would make your belly go down. If you were carrying a lot of excess fluid that could be possible but if this happened over night then i doubt it..
Have you tried getting on the scale and checking for weight fluctuation? If your weight has not changed then it is probably the baby moving around. if you still think it might be an issue please always contact you DR. first... Good luck to you and your baby..

When I was prego my weight did that alot. Everything was normal and I wasn't loosing weight either. The doctor said my weight was just shifting around my body.
If you're not bleeding then everything should be fine. If you're still not satisfied you can always call you doctor's office and ask. Even if then don't answer leave a message, they always call back. If they don't then you need to switch your doctor. :)

Could you have been bloated? 9 weeks seems kind of early to be putting on weight/showing and wearing maternity clothes. Either way, be happy you can wear your normal clothes...

Always go and see the doctor if you are worried about something. But i think it could have just been that you had water retention or bloating which has now gone away.

You may have had a lot of gas, bloating, and water retention...and now it has gone down considerably...
I would check with your Dr. but it sounds as if everything is fine.
Good luck!

That is strange...I have a weird question for you though, have you been constipated? I had a friend who was terribly constipated early in her pregnancy and looked about 6months pregnant then when she finally "got regular" her belly shrank dramatically....however you should consult your doc just to be safe....good luck!

I would call the doc just to set your mind at ease, but it is probably just water loss due to a change in hormones.
