Minnesota has lucked out except for sub-zero temps. We have had one of the sparsest winters for snow since the early 50's. Record setter on the snow tip, almost none on the ground, but sure have snow on the top of your head if you stand outside- temps have been in the -30 degree wind chill range for weeks, but a warm up is on the way going for the mid-30 plus next week whoopee!

Oh yes. And I think the cold is going to be around for awhile. Mind you, I'm not complaining compared to upstate New York, but the ice is so thick and hard you can walk on top of the snow. Haven't seen that for a long time.

Yup, it sure has. It's ironic too because they're talking so much about global warming and how the Earth is getting so much hotter then all the sudden we get hit with the cold weather.

After the warm streak that lasted for two months, yes. The warm was caused by El-Nino if you wanted to know

I don't know but I'm sick of these super cold temps! It's now 11am and it's 9 degrees (without the wind chill).
