You need PDF editing software.
You could buy Adobe Acrobat Standard at any office supply big box store. It will allow you to edit other people's PDF files, provided the creator didn't lock the file to prevent editing.

I have the same problem. I could be wrong about this but:
I think either the PDF. needs to have spaces defined for you to type in (by the document creator) or you need to have adobe professional.
Even if you get adobe professional it is not really geared to inputing lots of text. It is designed to help you make pdfs from other documents such as Word (but it can be done with an edit function)
Sometimes adobe offer free trials on their software. Maybe worth giving it a go?
Incidently you can create pdfs for free using open office which can be downloaded (for free)

Guess you see the pdf file in the Acrobat Reader Software, right? As the name says, this program only reads files, does not edit or save as the document. In order to edit the file you must have the full version of Acrobat, or latest versions of vectored software such Illustrator or CorelDraw. These 2 can import pdf files, edit and than publish it back to pdf format.

In order for you to reply on the document itself one of two things must occur.
First, the owner of the document has to give you "permision" to write on the file. For instance, at the www.irs.gov site, you can fill out a W-4 form online and print out the document with the information you've typed into it. However, at other sites it will not give you "permission" to do that because the "license" to allow that feature are expensive to the person who sends you the file.
Secondly, you have to purchase Adobe Writer. Adobe owns the .pdf format and all associated rights. That is why they set up .pdf the way they did - to make money. It is a free READER, but not a free WRITER. You must purchase their program in order to use it.

Hope this clears it all up for you.

properly first i am going to contact your insurance organization and be conscious about utilising yet another form. think ofyou've got to fill out the shape and fasten a note report with references to what area you're answering. upload this report including your PDF and mail to the insurance organization, qualified mail. To get admission to or substitute assistance in a PDF record you'll want the Adobe Acrobat software.. no longer Reader. There are transformations... also, if the shape is "form Enabled" it may take documents and characteristic it submitted through the documents. i'm hoping this helps....

Unless the file has been made to accept data into it there is no way. In general, pdf files are read-only.
It's easy to tell if it will accept data by clicking anywhere near the fields you want to type in. If it allows you type, go ahead and type in the info, otherwise you have to do what you have been doing.
