What would we have done without Ben Franklin?

and, we might not be as far as we are with technolgy and electricity that we have today

Without Benjamin Franklin, the planet would most likely have melted into the cosmos. All life as it was known during his time would have begun to reverse itself, and the Earth would have started disintegrated into its core, resulting in a magmatic ball which would lose all gravitational force and flow out into space. Most importantly, even if life made it up until this point, we would be far less creatures having never been blessed with P. Diddy's "It's All About The Benjamins." I would hate to think of such a world....

In terms of his scientific discoveries and inventions, eventually they would have been invented/discovered by someone else. I feel the biggest loss would have been his diplomacy. If he had not been there to significantly help convince the French government to assist us in the revolution, the United States might not exist today.
