I am starting a new genre called THE VOICE PUSHERS. They include.. puddle of mudd, three day grace, Staind, Creed, Daughtry ...
I was thinking about calling this genre cookie cutter corporate crap but thought voice pushers was nicer.. Who can think of other voice pushers?

Ever since Eddie Vedder and Scott Weiland became popular, bands have been trying so hard to duplicate the sound of singing from your stomach, but these new idiots are singing through their heads. Hello! If a vein is about to burst forth on your forehead and your jugular is looking like a fat length of roundworm then something ain't right!

I agree with nickelback but not with the rest you mentioned. Some of these guys have pretty good voices, but some of the songs suck. On the other hand, they do have some very good songs. Do you know how hard it is to find a lead singer that can actually sing? Of course record labels are going to put together an album that they hope sells millions. When a good song is sung right, it's a beautiful thing. Sometimes songs are over sung and too dramatic, which the bands you have mentioned have done. But when they do it right, it sounds very good.
