roll them up slowly and also, if you have long nails-be sure to keep them out of the way! :)

1. Make sure you have purchased the right size (look at the charts on the back, if you are in between, go bigger.)
2. Consider putting on some lotion on your hands and legs prior to putting on the hose. Don't do it while your legs are wet, though, as this will really complicate things.
3. For sweaty feat and slipping shoes, you might consider a shoe insert from walmart. They are only a few bucks and come in a variety of shoe styles. They could help absorb odor and sweat and take up some of the room that your socks would normally occupy.
4. Try trouser socks!
5. If you must wear hose, start in a sitting position like on the edge of your bed. (With one foot on the floor and the other propped up on the edge) Start by holding the hose by the top and go down one leg of the hose using your fingers to kind of make a turtle-neck type by scrunching it all together in your fingers until you reach the toe of the hose. Slip the hose toe over the end of your toes and slowly-without tugging- work it up your leg until mid-thigh. Then repeat with the other side. Once they are both mid-thigh, stand and gently finish pulling them on.
6. You also should make sure your toenails and fingernails are smooth. Not only does this make them more attractive, a sharp nail can puncture hose quickly.

Your panty hose won't tear if your toe nails are neatly clipped with no sharp edges. Scrunch up the panty hose and put it gently over your toes, and then pull it up. Also, don't buy the "one size fits all" ones, because they don't - and they're bad quality. By all means get a larger size, but not too large that it rolls down over your tummy.
Sweaty feet - you can get a good foot deodorant for that, and to stop your feet from slipping forward buy insoles which just go in the heel of your shoe. You can get them in various sizes for about 2$.
I find if I spend a bit more on a better quality panty hose it lasts a lot longer, and a sheer one won't make your feet so sweaty. Btw, if you're wearing pants or jeans, don't wear panty hose - your feet will definitely sweat then:-)

1) You might be buying the wrong size. Try the next larger size.
2) Next, they might be a bit too sheer. Look for something is a slightly heavier denier which makes them a bit stronger.
3) Check your heels for any signs of callous. If there is, have it removed and use skin lotion on the area to soften it up.
4) Make sure your hands and fingers are clean. By that I mean no hang nails, rough edges on the nails, rough spots of skin. If there is, and depending on what it it, a nail file, skin cream of even wear cotton gloves.
5) You might be putting them on too fast. Go slowly as you put them on.
Now for the sweat: Foot Powder or an inner sole.
For sliding forward, you shoes might be a little big for the material. You should be fitted correctly while wearing your pantyhose.

Buy more expensive pantry hoses I know they cost more but they last longer and they now have the no run ones that are great and put a little baby powder in your shoe just a little to keep your feet dry you don't want to over do it with the powder u could look like your feet are going up in a cloud of smoke.

pull the the pantyhose up by lining up your toes with the lines at the toe and then pull them up slowly, like a glove and don't feel weird to stretch them a little, but not too much. just enough to get them to fit.

Hi my mother showed me this tip when I first started wearing those blasted MF$&^@*$& :).
First, with your hands, strech out the panty hose as much as possible--then soak them in a tub full of ice cold water--throw in some ice cubes for good measure. For approx 15-20 minutes.
Then ring them out w/ your hands & lay them over a towel to dry.
Make sure your feet are callous free, try rubbing your feet with a body polish or even a mixture of baking soda & water & than make sure you haven't any toenail issues.
Now try them (once they are dry). As well, try putting a light layer of either cornstarch or baby powder on your feet once you are ready to put on the panty hose--it will help with slipping & with sweating

get some insoles for your shoes, this will make them fit a little more snugly and resist slipping.
maybe your toenails are too long? sometimes i shred up a pair of hose when i need a pedicure. or try buying a size up.

when you wear a pantyhose try to pull it up little by little, and try not to use nails to pull it. If you wear slippers i don't think it is a good idea to wear a pantyhose, then your foot shouldn't slip.
