I cannot give last name obviously.. I know it matters and it adds to the confusion, it starts with an S unfortunately. So Harrison goes best but I no longer like it... Unless I have a little red head I just don't like Harry.. Harry is kind of ugly sounding. I like Marcus and Samuel.. It is really down to these two.. Cole might be a middle name, but the more I have played with this here the less I like it now. Very interesting how your taste changes. Amazingly my daughters name was decided in minutes!!! heheheheh

I think Marcus sounds stronger but I like Samuel better because it sounds more exotic.

I LOVE the name Samuel! It sounds stronger then Marcus to me. I think that Marcus is a good name but I like Marc better. I think that Carl is a good middle name for wither of thoughs names. And Cole sounds good with Samuel.

Samuel will likely be shorted to Sam (or Sammy)- especially as a boy, by childhood friends, but Marcus is not likely to be shortened. That might be a consideration for you. I tend to prefer it when first and last names do not start with the same letter, so for both these reasons I like Marcus better.

Samuel sounds stronger but not with surname with an S. I don't think Cole goes with Marcus either though. Decisions decisions!!

Because the last name starts with an S, I would have to say Marcus. I definitely wouldn't give a child a name with the same first and last initial, and especially with the letter S. Think of names like Sam Spade and Sammy Sosa...they just don't sound nice. They make a very unpleasant hissing sound with the excessive letter S.

Samuel Marcus. A good strong name.
I like it a lot.

If you wanted to have a middle name of Cole, then name your child Marcus Colton. Or Samuel Cole, but... it dosnt sound right to me.
